This quote is pretty much me in a nutshell. I have always craved to see and learn about as many ways of life for as long as I can remember. For the past few years, my husband and I have been on a journey to find more of a work-life balance...and hopefully find a way to make it more "life" than "work". We have gypsy souls (ok, it's mostly me..) so, we like to move every few years to experience new places. Life is too short! I become restless if we've gone too long without a road trip to somewhere new. We've lived in Virginia, Washington, Texas, and now Utah. We've moved across the country 2 times and about to do it again! We're aspiring minimalists just trying to live a life of meaning.

As a mom to two kiddos, my time is precious. I love being home with them to see them grow and learn. I'm a sentimental person who wants to be there for it all! Which is why preserving memories through photography has always been such a love of mine. Becoming a photo editor was the first career that really set my soul on fire. I just knew it was what I was meant to do, and the only other thing worth spending time away from my kids for. I know your photos are like your babies, I totally get that! I understand how hard it might be to hand them over to me. Just know that they will be in the best hands and I will treat them like an extension of our family :)

"Life is too short for all the lives I have dreamed of living."

As a mom to two little kiddos, I understand the guilt you feel when you're overbooked and all you want to do is take a walk with your kids, your dog, or whoever/whatever it is! It's tough to follow our passions, be there for our family, AND to pursue the lives we dream of. Phew. It's a lot! This private editing business of mine not only helps me pursue my passion, but I want it to help those of you who want to do more than spend hours and hours editing behind your desk and away from where you want to be. To make sure the quality of your edits are what you want them to be, I'm very careful to only take on a limited number of clients so I can really invest my time into mastering YOUR style and preferences. If any of this resonates with you, let's chat!

As someone who can be a bit of a control freak...I totally understand the hesitation you might feel about handing over your photos for another person to edit. However, this career is my passion and I've always thrived on helping others. It's my personal goal and mission to make our editing relationship (and personal one) as seamless as possible. I want this to be a win-win for both of us!
